Brought together by a love of music and Japanese pop culture.
Despite the band members different morals, strange humours and constant quarrels they have bonded like family and spend each week dedicated to writing themselves free. The Rickshaw is quite literally a vehicle of human strength.
‘So Free’ was filmed over three days in the bitter cold of Wellington winter and features the band members as pseudo monsters trapped in a female world of despair and fantasy, a fitting theme for a song dark on love.
